Laguna Working Dog Club can provide trial events  to help promote the training of sport and working dogs as well as suport for all working dog clubs regardless of national affiliation (ie. USCA & GSDCA/WDA).

Our Laguna Working Dog Club Home Field is located inside Chapparosa Park, at Ball Field No.1, 25191 Chapparosa Road Laguna Niguel, CA. 92677.

 

We usually train alternate Sunday evenings at 7:00 PM in Obedience and Protection. Members are encouraged to supplement their training with Jim at IHeartK9.com in Riverside or with Chris and Kellie at c2k9.com in Ramona, both on Saturday mornings at 8:00 AM.

 

Tracking is available in Romona and the Perris Lake basin. Introduction to Tracking can be combined with Obedience and Protection training at Helpers discretion.

 

                                 Club Membership and 2020 Dues

 

Our competitative annual LWDC membership fee is a non-refundable $400 which includes Fiscal year LV DVG America dues, first quarters club dues, and club liability insurance. All members are encouraged to train the days scheduled. Additionally, after first quarter members pay quarterly dues of $80,  a total of $640 per year, plus "Tip" our Helper/Trainer when requested

**Annual DVG dues and Liability insurance of $273 is due BY October 15th, 2020. LWDC dues are $35 monthey (paid by Subscription only).

                            Club Training Equipment Available as Scheduled

Heavy duty One meter Jump, all metal  7 foot A frame, Two blinds, Trial regulation  dumbbells in three varied weights and dumbbell stand, Heavy trial level bit arm and sleeve, agitation long line, thirty foot tracking and safty line, various other training aids,

Additionally: Pinch collar, six foot leash, agitation harness , and E-collar, are available to members as required.

 

Interested persons with prior working dog experience or have a "working dog" should arange to meet club officers and schedule an "evaluation" session for your dog with clubs Training Director, and "tip" him accordingly.

 

                  Suggested Training Equipement and Training Manual

 

1. Prong collar, 2. Fur saver collar, 3. Six foot leash, 4. Six inch tab, 5. Two balls on a rope, 6. Agitation harness, 7. Sport dog electric collar, 8. Thirty foot agitation/tracking line or two light weight 15 foot tracking lines.

 

9.All members are requested to read and become familiar with either " TOP WORKING DOGS," by Ditmar Schellenberg or "Training The Behavior," by Gary Patterson, in order to enhance their training experience. Address any questions to the TD or a club officer.
